The Hope Centre
The Hope Centre in Stung Treng, Cambodia was born from the dream to provide a base to equip and empower those living in the rural communities.
The multi-purpose space includes accommodation, classrooms and a large meeting space.
It acts as a base for educational courses, employment training, personal mentoring and apprenticeships, as well as equipping and empowering those living in the rural communities. Children’s camps, youth ministry and pastoral development are all hosted in the facility.
The Centre is bringing quality education, micro-finance and resources to the region, providing families with the knowledge and resources necessary to increase their income, secure their future, and provide many of the necessities often taken for granted in the developed world.
A wide-range of non-formal education classes are to be offered, from English language to construction, leadership training and computer classes, and other vocational training. The Centre also contains dormitories for trainees from rural areas and visiting teams. Kitchen and office facilities are included.
The Centre is owned and operated by Asian Outreach Cambodia and is helping restore hope and dignity to rural Cambodians.
DONATE
To see the Centre founded on excellence, a team of local Khmer are serving alongside international mentors and specialists.
This pioneering stage means that staff costs require assistance until classes grow to meet the Centre’s daily expenditure. You can make a huge difference by partnering with this committed team to see that happen.
Just $350NZD per month will fully support a staff member. If seven friends could give $50 a month each, you could sponsor a staff member together!
