Imagine continuing to make a positive impact in the world, even after you’re gone. One way to do this is by leaving a gift in your Will to Asian Outreach New Zealand—a practice known as legacy giving.

We all want to leave a legacy, often through our family or loved ones. Another powerful, practical way is to leave a financial legacy to a cause that reflects your values. By supporting Asian Outreach NZ, your generosity helps alleviate poverty and share the love of Jesus across Asia for years to come.

If this mission aligns with your heart, we invite you to consider including Asian Outreach NZ in your Will.

Writing Your Will: It’s Important for Everyone

None of us know how long we have on this earth. If you’re over 18, it’s wise to write a Will, regardless of your assets. It ensures your wishes are respected and your loved ones cared for.

You can even create a legally binding Will online for free through [Gather Here], and include a gift to Asian Outreach NZ and other charities you care about.

Choosing Your Legacy Gift

Your family and friends always come first. Once they’re provided for, leaving a gift to Asian Outreach NZ is simple.

You can choose from several types of gifts:

  • Residual gift: Leave all or part of what remains of your estate after providing for your family.

  • Percentage of your estate: Your gift grows or shrinks as the value of your estate changes.

  • Specific gift: A set amount of money, shares, property, or other assets.

Once you’ve decided, you can write your Will online in just 10 minutes.

If you already have a Will, your solicitor or trustee company can help you include your gift. Here’s an example of wording you could use:

“I give to Asian Outreach Trust (% of my estate / the residue of my estate / a sum of money / my property or other assets) for general purposes, for which the receipt of an authorised person of Asian Outreach New Zealand shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.”

You can also create a new Will online here (without cost) and have your solicitor keep it on file, overriding any previous Will.

Our Commitment to You

Leaving a gift in your Will is a personal decision. If you are considering a bequest, here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Wise use of your gift: We will steward your generosity responsibly.

  • Freedom to change your mind: We understand circumstances change and so can your Will.

  • Support and guidance: We’re here to answer any questions.

  • Privacy: Any discussions with us are strictly confidential.

Let Us Thank You

If you plan to leave a gift to Asian Outreach NZ, we would love to know. This is not binding – you can change your mind anytime – but it allows us to personally thank you, keep you informed about our work, and communicate in a way that suits you.

All information is treated with complete confidentiality.
