Empowering Kiwi Kids to Engage in God’s Mission
Our Mission‑Minded Kids course is making a big impact in Christian schools across Aotearoa. Through inspiring content — activities, games, stories, and discussions — we’re equipping children to understand and participate in God’s mission in the world.
1 Timothy 4:12
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Age is no barrier to being used by God. We believe children can develop an early awareness of the world, their relative privilege within it, and the importance of the Great Commission. Our heart is to help them recognise how God might want to use them — even as kids — to show His love and make a difference.
What Children Learn
Across three one‑hour lessons, children (usually aged 9–11) explore:
- Cultural diversity
- The Great Commission
- The role of missionaries
- The persecuted church
- Practical ways to meet people’s physical and spiritual needs
The course concludes with a practical challenge: students are invited to put their learning into action by fundraising for disadvantaged children in another country.
