Some of our people...

AONZ Board Member - Robert Choy

We welcome the appointment of Robert Choy to our Board; Robert brings much experience in finance and project management oversight with International Non for Profit Organisations out of NZ. Robert and his wife Nelly have been long term Asian Outreach supporters.

Staff Change - AONZ Administrator

We say farewell to KC Teah and his precious family as they leave us to join family in Australia in December 2008. KC has served AONZ well and brought extra skills in producing Video from our Asian fields. Bless you KC for your faithful service to the Lord.

We welcome Lo Yoke Thong  as our Administrator as we also face a time of positive change. Lo served with AONZ briefly in 2000 and has since served in Missions in China. AONZ remain committed to the same high standard of accountability in our finances and administration. Please feel free to enquire regarding support for our AONZ Field Projects and Kiwi Field workers. Lo's email contact aonz@clear.net.nz

Helen Taylor - B Com. AOI Hong Kong

In 1998 'Kiwi' Helen Taylor was appointed Executive Assistant to David Wang in Hong Kong. In 2007 Dr Francis Tsui was appointed AOI President and Dr David Wang, President Emeritus and Director of AO China Ministries. The AOI Board have now recognised Helen's obvious giftings, her love for Christ and her call to Asia and 2009 will see her transitioning to a new role as AOI Vice President - Administration & Finance. Helen has previously served in NZ with different ministries in including 7 years as Accountant with Radio Rhema and UCB International.

Congratulations Helen, may the Lord use you powerfully and effectively to advance the cause of Winning Asians for Christ. E-mail contact for Helen helent@asianoutreach.org

Experience life in the countryside. Student Camps are held yearly - teaching English, sports, art and crafts, songs and other interactive games.

English Program for Hong Kong Youth:

Teachers/Native English Speakers are required to help run 'fun and inter-active English Program in HK'.

Colleen Banks - AO Cambodia Communication Manager

Formerly Health Education Coordinator.

Director Romanea relies heavily on Colleen and the other ex-pat Staff to help train and encourage the Khmer AOC Staff and support them in administration and communication areas. Colleen's vision for AO Cambodia remains strong.  Please pray for her and the other ex-pat staff for health, grace and wisdom as they work together to see the Khmer Staff 'increase' and themselves 'decrease' in the work of Winning Cambodians for Christ.

Andrew and Liz Moselen and family

The Moselens are back in NZ now for a long over due furlough after 10 faithful years of service in Mongolia. They are planning to return to Mongolia in 2011.

Andrew has spoken powerfully about the amazing story of the beginnings of the Mongolian Church literally from 'dead dry bones.'  Please talk with us about partnering with AO Mongolia, for Child Literacy, Church Planters, and Micro Enterprise Investment. They will appreciate our prayers.

Bruce and Diane Taylor -  AOI Vice President.

Bruce has confirmed to Bruce and Diane the 'sense of destiny and calling'. The Lord is clearly asking them to leave family and our fair shores and return to Asia and they must obey. They left behind pristine beaches, sizzling BBQ's, clean air and blue skies in New Zealand. They will appreciate our ongoing prayers for them and their family through this year.

AONZ Missionary Support

Each of our Field Workers in Asia is connected to their home Churches and supporters in NZ who pray for them and support them practically and financially. However, unexpected costs and financial shortfalls do occur from time to time. We would like to establish a small reserve fund on their behalf, so for this reason we ask you to consider this in your 'mission giving'. Possibly as a 'one-off' gift or regular giving through 2009.

Please contact me if you wish to know more about this.

Thank you,

James Muir.
