Our Mission WINNING ASIANS FOR CHRIST. ASIANS WINNING FOR CHRIST. Our History AO New Zealand began in 1978 spurred on by Dr Paul Kauffman the Founder of Asian Outreach International. "A new day has dawned for China's Church. Out of the purging fires of relentless persecution is emerging a Church that is vastly different from anything seen in China before." Paul Kauffman. 1975. Our earliest goal was to help stir the Kiwi Church with a passionate concern for the young Chinese Church and their need for Bibles and Trained Workers. Over the years AONZ Directors Staff and Board members have retained that same sharp focus and pure passion; helping to meet the needs of the growing Asian Churches and Leaders. We remain an interdenominational Mission and part of the Asian Outreach Alliance comprising 26 offices around the world. Our Vision Helping to Train, Launch and Support Church Planters and Christian Workers throughout the Mission Frontiers of China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Philippines ,Thailand and Sri Lanka. Our Strategy Reaching, Touching, Changing lives, through holistic approaches in the un-reached territories of Asia and among Asians, resulting in Asian focussed Mission Churches.
